Here and There on Flat Top

Hi everyone.
This Saturday the harriers head to Logantown (where the toilet is) at Bendigo. We are car pooling, departing Alexandra at 12 Midday, Not 1pm as listed in the programme.
We will be car pooling as the bus can not go up the hill .

Last Saturday the club went down to Butchers Dam – Flat Top area. The W1s paid off the W2s to be late back so the 1s could claim to be back on time!

The W1s went at 12 with a second group at 1pm – both walked the Purple Haze Track. Joe led the W2s straight up the hill across from the dam testing a new route he is developing. After a great view up and down Lake Roxburgh they followed the Basin View track down and back to afternoon tea at the dam.

The W3s wandered the tracks around the dam and were back as usual with plenty of time before afternoon tea.

Other than a cool breeze on top, the weather was better than Alexa predicted!

When Alexa was asked about the weather for Tarras (twice) on Saturday, the reply that the weather in Paris would be 25 degrees.
Reverting to asking for the temperature for Cromwell, the response was Cloudy skies with a high of 12 degrees!

I have sent this email out unsupervised so may have to resend it later if I have things wrong.

See you on Saturday.
