Please note that there will be no swimming with the eels in the Chatto Creek irrigation tunnel this year as our guide is unavailable. Jo has been working with the landowners to find alternative routes along the Chatto Creek water races for us – this means we will now leave Alexandra at the later time of 1pm !!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meet at the corner of Walton, Thompson and River Streets to carpool at 1pm!

We can’t believe the weather man when they say there will be snow to low levels! It wasn’t such a bad day in Ida Valley at Shennans Track. The 15 W2s found a creek, not once, but twice, that they didn’t manage to find last year! The 19 W1s tried to follow the said creek back down to the bus, but ended up retracing their steps back upstream to find the W2s trying to get across with dry feet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Climbing up the first hill, must have brought everyone closer to the sun as there was a fair bit of stripping layers off half way up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The younger generation showed that chivalry is not yet dead, helping the Nanny Goats across the second creek with dry feet and no broken bones! Thanks to Jack and our new exchange student for looking after them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The five W3s had enough sense to stick to the track and not go jumping creeks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everyone was happy to make it back to the bus on time and get a ride back to town!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A reminder to keep track of everyone in your group and wait for everyone to catch up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remember we are starting half an hour later than in the Club Programme (now at 1pm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
